Up for sale is a beautiful 17th century etching entitled “Mars, Flora, Venus” by the Belgium baroque artists Cornelis Schut. This print also shows Cupid to center flying overhead holding an arrow. This work is signed in the plate lower left and resting in a vintage frame where it appears to be mounted by its corners. The entire sheet measures 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches while the frame measures 13 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches. The print appears to be a first state example and shows its age with toning, foxing, trimmed margins and loss to the top corners.
