Depicting a group of three women holding baskets of orange fruit the work is executed in oil on canvas and is signed in the low right corner “E. Sarmiento”. With the canvas measuring 24 x 24 inches the frame measures 25.75 x 25.75 inches and is in overall stunning condition free from any mentionable blemishes outside of minor imperfection to its frame. Dated 1976 this vintage painting shows a highly attractive composition showing lovely brushwork and of course color. This is an overall fine example from Sarmiento of which I greatly prefer his figurative works over the more commonly seen landscapes.
