This original oil painting on artist board by American artist John C. Traynor is an absolute gem depicting Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral Florida. This sun setting seascape is painted in John's atmospheric impressionist style which is instantly recognizable by his brushwork and color use. The color choice and variety present in the sky is truly exceptional with a blood orange setting sun casting its colors also onto the waters surface. A figure is present on the beach pulling a small boat behind him which adds a nice humanly touch. The rocky jetty stretches out from the left as the tide rolls in from the right. Their are certain brushstrokes with heavy applications of paint and texture seen in the sky, sun and waves. This work is signed in the lower right corner "John C. Traynor" dated 1997 and inscribed verso "Jetty Park Cape Canaveral". The condition is pristine with the painting having no signs or wear or damage. The gold frame this rests in is also in excellent condition.
