Titled “Henley” this etching is part of the Henley Suite printed in 1969 and is from the small edition of only 75. Signed in pencil, titled and number in the low margin this sizable etching measures 31 x 23 inches with its full margins while the plate measures 18.5 x 13.75 inches. Depicting an abstracted view of the Henley Royal Regatta Trevelyan breaks the scene down into basic shapes and colors creating a fantastic modern and highly aesthetic image. This rare etching is in fine original condition showing a great impression and color with the only imperfection being a light burn from a previous matt window and the top of the sheet being creased as photographed.
