Available now is this phenomenal little painting by the talented American artist Eugene Paul Ullman depicting the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria with St. Stephen’s cathedral seen in the distance. A single busy road intersects this painting dotted with horse drawn carriages, early automobiles and walking figures on the each of side walks. The horizon is spotted with the spired and towers of the ancient citys famous Cathedrals with St. Stephens dead center. This incredibly dense composition depicts every single building and little squares with trees sprouting up over the roofs surface. Executed in oil on canvas this painting is expertly painted and has tremendous color. The painting is in its original condition and is in need of a good cleaning which would brighten up and clear the painting especially seen in the sky which now carries a slight brown tone. The condition of the painting is excellent with just some rubbing from the frame around the perimeter of the canvas. Signed in the lower left corner “Eugene Paul Ullman” this is a rather rare cityscape of which was not a common choice in subject matter. This would have been a real test almost photographically copying the citys structure. Please feel free to ask any questions!
