Executed in watercolor / gouache on paper; this floral still life is entitled "Grandi Flora" or White Magnolia Flowers. Mary shows the flower in three different stages of its life with the top flower still closed, moving down to a fully mature bloomed flower clearly showcasing its stamen. The quality is outstanding showcasing her truly mastered skill of painting the many flowers that dotted the Texan landscape. Housed in a highly attractive soft green wood frame that measures 24 x 30 1/2 inches the painting measures 15 x 21 1/2 inches and is in overall outstanding condition!
