George Horvath is an outstanding Canadian artist whose landscape works are so lifelike you feel like you’re peering through a window into the marvelous Canadian wilderness. This oil on canvas is entitled "Autumn Solitude" and depicts a superb mountain landscape looking out over a lake with red and yellow vegetation changing color with the season. Executed in oil on canvas the condition is absolutely mint, free from any signs of wear or damage. It is also resting in its original gallery gold wood frame which measures 33 x 27 inches fitting the picture perfectly softly drawing out the golden yellow tones from the painting.

Horvath's technique and artist ability is well displayed perfectly showcasing his high level of execution in brushwork and understanding of color. The use of color in this painting is highly sophisticated as he captured the autumn colors perfectly as though you’re looking at a photograph on a postcard. With a wide vary from browning vegetation to tones of red, yellow and orange it is more than admirable. The mountains stretch into the heavens with wonderful depth created by shadows on the ridges and a killer soft pink on the sun facing portion of the rocky surfaces. All around this picture is outstanding and is transforming when placed anywhere in the home or collection.
