Up for sale is an absolutely phenomenal original mixed media painting by the 20th century pop artist Peter Max entitled “Liberty Head”. This work is executed in acrylic paint applied to a lithographic print and is one of Peter’s most rare and iconic subject matters. This mixed media painting rests in its original gold wood frame measuring 44 3/8 x 38 1/2 inches while the work of art measures 30 x 24 inches. Please do not get this confused with the lesser smaller-sized examples or the numbered lithograph, these are both inferior to this large, extremely rare size. The condition of the work is excellent in original condition straight from the gallery and shows a nice amount of hand-applied acrylic which I have shown in the up-close photos. The frame and acrylic may show some scuffs and or minor scratches/abrasions.
