Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous lithograph by the fantastic 20th-century artist Robert Von Neumann known for his work depicting fishermen. This etching is entitled “The Island Fishermen” showing exactly that, a group of fishermen seen pulling in their nets with a clipper ship and rocky cliff island in the distance. Dating to circa 1950 the condition of the print is excellent as it rests double matted fine gold and black wood frame. There is a gallery paper verso from “Fredericks Gallery” Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
