Up for sale is an outstanding collection of 6 antique watercolor portraits of British 13th Bengal Lancer officers from 1897. These original hand executed paintings have incredible detail and color and were clearly executed by a very talented hand. All six paintings are separately framed in nice matching wood frames which all measures 12.5 x 17.25 inches while the watercolors measures 6 x 10 inches. I removed three from the frame for further inspection and had only found what appears to be a possible slight illegible initial in the top left of these pieces on the very outer edge of the paper as seen in the 11th photo. 

The artist used a thin rag paper that is free of any watermarks or distinguishing features that I could tell. These appear to be from the early to mid 1900's but the date of creation is unknown. The condition of all of them is truly stunning with no condition issues to comment on besides the slight knicks or imperfections on the frames. The colors and detail the artist put into these are magnificent to look at and its a true shame their unsigned. They could very well be from a well listed and collected artist.

The subject of Bengal Lancer officers is scarcely seen making these period originals exceedingly rare!
