Up for sale is a superb French impressionist oil painting on canvas depicting Paris's famous Place du Terte with the monumental dome in the background of Sacre Coeur. This depiction of the famous park and Basilica is rather nice and one reason is the artists viewpoint of the church. This vintage oil painting on canvas was executed with a palette knife giving phenomenal texture and depth to this picture. The level of execution is impressive clearly attesting to the ability of the artist. This work is signed in the lower left corner but unfortunately is illegible. Resting in its original mid century wood frame that measures 21 x 18 inches while the canvas measures 16 x 13 inches. The condition is perfect free from any damage but the painting does have some minor craquelure which nicely shows the age this work carries.
