Up for sale is an outstanding original watercolor that pays homage to the greatest French impressionist artist Claude Monet. This original composition depicts a portrait of Monet while resting within his famous subject, lilly pads. Virtually everyone knows or has seen the famous lilly pad composition from Monet and this watercolor does it justice. The quality of the painting is exceptional especially the detail in Monet's face. The watercolor is in absolutely mint condition and measures approximately 28 x 17 inches while the attractive black wood frame measures 37.5 x 26 inches. This painting is signed in the lower right corner but is unfortunately illegible, the age is relatively new dating this within the last thirty years. No glass is included in the frame.
