Up for sale is a stunning Japanese painting on paper depicting a colorful floral bouquet of red and pink flowers with yellow centers. This work is executed in some type of pastel and ink mixed media which is very appealing to the eye smooth in texture. The style is excellent with incredible use of color but unfortunately is unsigned. This came out of a large collection of primarily Chinese art which contained mostly listed contemporary artists of which I believe this to be also. Professionally framed in a thin gold, blue and black wood build with double matting of pink and dark blue linen. The condition is excellent with no signs of significant wear or damage other than minimal yellowing in the white background. Measuring in total 27 x 27 inches the painting measures 19.25 x 19.5 inches.
