Up for sale is an absolutely striking impressionist oil painting on masonite depicting a South American desert mountain range. This work is well executed and has phenomenal brushwork and color making an overall extremely appealing work of art. Unfortunately the signature that is present lower left is illegible and dated 1990. The farthest mountains are decorated with white snow attesting to the high elevation they are appearing to be a Chilean view. The painting measures 23.25 x 14 inches while the gold wood frame measures 27 x 17.75 inches. Both the painting and frame are in fine condition! A pencil inscription from the artist is present verso but unfortunately I am unable to read where it says this "view" is.
